What's Irving Serving? My Closing Remarks As The Year Comes To an End.

Guys and Dolls, I want to be honest with you. When I first started writing these blogs, I wasn’t sure if anyone would read them. I didn’t know if what I had to share would resonate with you or if you’d find it useful. I’m not a professional writer by any means, but I am passionate about helping you understand what it takes to bring your dream to life. My hope is that these blogs have answered some of your questions about this industry and provided the guidance you needed to take those first steps. I want to see you guys succeed more than anything! So, with all of that said it's time to  wrap things up for 2024, This mentor is ready for some holiday cheer. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart—for listening, for trusting me as a mentor, and for sharing this journey. This coming year let's set it off!

I wish you all the success your heart & hands can hold! Let’s make 2025 the year those dreams shine brighter than ever!

Remember, the fire of a dream will never die. Even if there’s just the smallest ember left, you have everything it takes to turn that fire into a flame. Keep going—you can do this!

What's Irving Serving? How to Slate for Modeling Auditions:  What is “Slating”? “Slating” is the industry term for introducing yourself in an audition, whether it’s in-person, virtual, or self-taped. When you are going out for a modeling job, acting job, or voice-over, slating is something that you would be submitting to get the job.  While it may seem like a small step, slating sets the tone for your audition and allows those watching to get a sense of your personality and professionalism.  1.
